French Riviera-Nice, Monte Carlo, Saint Tropez, Cannes
Hi!
DH and I are looking at going to the French Riviera in September. Is this a bad time of year to go weather wise?
Anywhere we NEED to stay or anything we need to see?
Where do we fly into? See people make fun of me for using a travel agent but I have no idea where to start.
TIA!

I fly into Nice, France when I have visited the French Riviera as it is centralized. September is fine but might be crowded. I can answer more questions for you if you tell me what your interests are and what type of vacation you want btw- you can find Chanel & Gucci wayyyy cheaper there than in the US and remember to get your VAT tax rebate

I went at the end of September and it was a little chilly. I'd go earlier in the month if you want to enjoy the beaches.

Thats kinda the direction I was looking for--we went to Italy and Greece for our HM and we had some nice weather but it was FREEZING at night and I want warm because I want to enjoy the beaches. By the time we got to Greece it was like 9/15ish and it was chilly.
Anywhere in particular we should stay?

What about Louie? I bought one when I was in Italy and it still ended up being about $60 cheaper.

We got a sick deal at The Hermitage in Monte Carlo on Travelocity. It was beautiful. I know Hotel de Paris is amazing too. But I think pretty much all of the hotels there are pretty nice.
If I recall we stayed at the Beau Rivage in Nice. IMO, it wasn't anything special. Le Meridien looked nice and if I recall was centrally located.
