Those of you with an 11 month old?
How many ounces of formula does you 11 month old take? Ryan is really cutting back. He takes 8 ounces in the morning with his breakfast. He was taking 6 in the afternoon and 6 at night. Now he cut out his afternoon bottle and just takes 8 in the morning and 6 at night.
He spit up a little last night. He never spit up - not even when he was a newborn. I don't know if I should start to give him 4 or 5 at night? He plays with the bottle.
He is starting to teeth again. Could that be why he spit up? (Did it one day last week too).
Any advice?

Nate will be 12 months next week, but for the last few weeks he's been drinking 3 6oz bottles/day.
If the spitting up happens occassionally then I wouldn't worry about it. If he's drinking a bottle at the same time of eating table food, he may spit up bc he's getting full. Try giving him the bottle 30-60 min after eating.

Awww - Happy Birthday Nate. Can you believe how fast it goes? Ryan is 11 months today.
He only takes a bottle with his breakfast. The bottle at night is 2 hours after dinner. He always liked having a bottle after his cereal. I guess he's thirsty.

Re: Those of you with an 11 month old?
I don't know that I have any advice for you but Jake is 10 1/2 mos old and he is drinking anywhere from 21-24 oz total a day. He's lost interest in his first morning bottle significantly - if I can get him to drink 2oz in the morning that's alot. He doesn't finish the other 3 7-8 oz bottles that he gets during the day anymore.
I've noticed that this started since the real teething began. He doesn't have a single tooth yet but now I see the swollen gums and they are starting to come up. So I figure it has to have something to do with the teething.
Have you changed the amount of solids he gets at all? Maybe that has something to do with it?

My son is almost 9months and I posted the same concern "8 month feeding question". he bites on the nipple also. He has no teeth yet just the top of one. He has lost interest in his bottle in the morning also. Well I hope we both figure this out....

I know eventually they don't take as much formula and they are more interested in food so I guess we are ok. I'm just not sure how much they should be taken?!?
