Taking a break mid cylce
So has anyone stopped Mid-cycle? I took Clomid for 5 days, going for a sono tomorrow. But what would happen in if we just took a break? Would I eventually ovulate on my own?
And why do I feel so guilty about doing this?

I actually did the exact same thing, my first cycle. Took the 5 days of femara and then basically chickened out of the IUI
DO NOT feel bad for taking a break. This is an extremely emotional time and you should do things when you are ready
Trust me the docs and nurses will understand.
I did ovulate on my own before fertility treatments, so yes, i ovulated that cycle too.

depends.. do you normally ovulate on your own?
if you do, then yes you would
if you take a break, all you're really doing is stopping the monitoring that the dr's office is doing throughout your cycle.
if you're not ready for it.. its perfectly ok and something you should talk about with your dr.
i'd hate for you to take the clomid unnecessarily though, so if you decide to take a break next month, definitely let your dr know before they start you on clomid again

Sorry I can't help you with the clomid question.
I think you should do what you are comfortable with though. Sometimes we just need that mental break from TTC. Don't feel guilty do what is best for YOU!!
