Any exercise classes offered late night (8:30/9PM)...
I'd like to sign up for a class but not the gym - I can't spend the $$ on a membership right now and won't go enough. Any recommendations for a class??

Hot Yoga in Massapequa if you'd be into that. It's only Hot Yoga class but they have an 8PM class at least 3 nights a week. You can get a package of 10 classes and use them as you like.

there is a 830 class at CKO (kickboxing) in copaigue on Mons and Weds. It is 20/class i think.

how is this place? is it intense? ive been looking for kickboxing. and silly question is the instructor male or female?

I 100% agree with this recommendation. I go at least 3x a week to the 8PM class and love it. I try to squeeze in a weekend class too.
I also recently signed up for the $145.00 a month unlimited plan and it works out to be so much cheaper.
If anything, pay the $20.00 and do the unlimited 10 days with that to see if you enjoy it.
You also don't have to be great at it either to see the benefits, and it's very much a welcoming, comfortable environment.

There's a kettlebell gym on Merrick Road in Seaford. You can get there as late as 8PM for the group squad training and they have a pay as you go option.

Sorry I just saw your post now. It is intense but the classes are structured so you can go at your own level. My first day I wanted to die!!!!!!! I walked out and signed up for a year membership 2 days later. I go 4 times a week now (almost 2years later) and the classes still kick my butt.
The instructors are both male and female. Let me know if you want to go and when if you want and Ill go with you. I normally go at 430 but would go whenever. It really is addictive. Because its a relatively small place the instructors are always there for any issues you have and it really has become a small family and I have made some great friends there....very friendly great place.
