Question about airfares to Florida?

We are going in July...I have been checking the airfares pretty much daily and yesterday it seemed they went up about $25 a ticket.
Do you think they will drop down again or go up now that summer is coming and gas prices are rising again? Should I just get them now?

I know as soon as I book nonrefundable tickets, there is going to be a sale but I also don't want to pay more.

It's hard to say. Many times they don't go down, but there have been times they do. When this has happened, I'll call the airline and request a credit and basically what happens is they cancel my ticket (which has a fee) and reissue at the new price so the difference is in the form of a credit.

I know what you mean. We're going to FL in July too, and I checked the fares with all the airlines almost daily. Instead of going down they all went up. So finally I booked with the cheapest airline I could find.
