How do you apply perfume so it LASTS?
Maybe it's just my body chemistry.. or maybe I'm using the wrong stuff (though I use Burberry and Gucci so it's all high end!!) ..... but I find that perfumes just do NOT last on me! I put it on and I smell it for 30 mins and then it's gone!
Any pointers?
FYI- Right now I put one spray on each wrist, I touch my wrists to my neck, and I give another two sprays in the air and walk through it.. and still nothing!!

you may not be able to smell it on yourself. Ask someone else to smell you.
Also, layering the scent may help, if you use a lotion and perfume.
I find that a lot of people OD on their perfume because they get used to it so they don't smell it anymore.

I read somewhere that if you can smell your own perfume you are wearing too much of it ...

Well, now we know to: 1-apply L'Occitane lotion 2-spray from ankles, behind knees, in elbows and then on pulse points..haha...btw, I could smell your perfume today and it was not too strong..

Eau de Toilette don't last the whole day on me.
It's the Lightest of all. Eau de Parfum is the next step up. Perfume being the strongest. Not all "perfumes" come in the options though.
Being the ears, wrists and cleavage are the traditional spot to apply perfume.
I find applying to my clothes last longer.
My favorite method is spray in the air and walk through the mist. That's for eau de toilette though.

Thanks I'm glad you noticed!! I actually really liked the lotion I tried too and it didn't have a scent so it might be a good one to use with perfume!! I smell another mall trip!
Thanks for the tips everyone!!

What I do and it will last all day is that I spray body splash, as soon as I get out of the shower (I scent that wont smell too strongly, I found one in Bath & Body that compliments my perfume). Then once I am dressed I spray the perfume. It lasts all day. Sometimes it's night time and I still get compliments.
