Re: Tatas spinoff

I had a reduction.

Dr. Peter Neumann in Great Neck.

Mine was covered by insurance since I had long standing back issues but at the time the whole cost was around $10K and that was 15 years ago.

I actually think it's cheaper now. If you do the procedure in his surgical suite you don't have hospital fees but if you do it outpatient at the hospital (where mine was done) it was more expensive.

Re: Tatas spinoff

Oh I've heard fantastic things about Dr. Romanelli's "Mommy Makeovers".

I think it is typically a lift and a tummy tuck.

He is double board certified - I always recommend him because DH has quite a few family members who have gone to him and just LOVE him. HTH!

NO they will not cover a lift. It is not medically necessary. My BR was insurance covered as I had two metal rods in my lower back to due to degenerative arthritis.

Re: Tatas spinoff

I had a breast reduction right before my 21st bday - I'm 36 now and everyday I thank GOD that I did it. Insurance covered 80% of the surgery - it was $2000.

Did you have other things done too? That's quite a lot of money for a reduction.
