Any idea what's going on with my cats?!?
We moved to our new house 4 days ago. Ever since we moved, my girl cat is SO angry at my boy cat!!!  They were never best friends but they were at the point where one could lick the other and they would sit near each other, etc..
Now it's to the point where whenever the boy goes anywhere near the girl she HISSES and GROWLS!!!  Tonight she even slapped him when hissing didn't give him the hint to just go away! 
Any idea what's going on here?! They are both VERY affectionate around us though! Even though the girl is SO angry at the boy, she is VERY loving toward me and DH..
I just can't figure this one out!!

This was my thought as well. Once they settle out the new territory, they should be fine.

yeppers territory marking time. I am sure they are rolling around and brushing up against everything. Your cats probably had certain areas that were theirs specifically and the cats knew that - now its new.
Our plan when we get the kitten is take one room, clean it all out completely. Wash all linens, wipe down with beach and steam where we can to descent the room so its the kittens room. Then stubby won't react so harshly (we think)

Yup!! This is exactly what they are doing- rubbing up against things all over the place!!!
Thanks everyone for your input!! I am convinced it's a territory thing that they will hopefully sort out soon!!
