Will I be waxing too early?

I can't remember the last time I waxed (leg, bikini, underarm). Those days it's all about the razor.

But I decided to wax before our coming trip. I just don't want to deal with shaving.

We are leaving on a Thursday and coming back on a Sunday.

I will be waxing the Saturday before.

Is that too early? I should be able to go for a full week without "touch up" with a razor, right?

I have those red dots everytime I wax and it takes 2 days to get rid of them.
