Need help with directions to LI IVF in Stony Brook!
Hi Ladies,
I have my first appointment tomorrow with Dr. Droesch at LI IVF. Can anyone help me out with directions? I am coming from the South Shore of Suffolk. The map on their website is confusing.
ETA: Do I take Nicholls Road North and turn left on 347?
Also, and tips or words of advice for me? I'm a nervous wreck.

I can't help with directions, but good luck w/ your first appointment!! 
I left my first appointment feeling a HUGE sense of hope, so I wish the same for you! I suggest you make a list beforehand of all questions and concerns you have. When you're sitting and talking to the dr, it's so easy to forget stuff and then you will leave feeling frustrated! Definitely make a list a bring it along!! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

Yes this is right. Take Nichols North to 347 and make a left. Pull into the medical park, its on the right side and I beleive the entrace is right by the 1st light. Go all the way down, and their office is right behind building 17 on the right side. Good Luck with the appt. I see Dr K but have had Dr D for sonos. She is very nice and I have always felt comfortable with her.

Thanks for the advice! What types of questions did you ask?
I had a history of problems so I brought all my gyno records. Have you been charting? If you have, bring your charts.
I asked questions related to the problems I had been having and about different protocols, next steps, etc.
It really depends on your specific case.
Good luck!!!!!! I hope you leave feeling as hopeful as I did after my first appt!!

I see Dr Droesch at Stony Brook. She is wonderful and everyone there is super nice. Good luck today!
