Spinoff: Process of switching Dr's
When you switch Dr's - are your files transferred? Do you have to go through the whole work up process again?
I'm thinking about going to Cornell.

They should transfer your files or give you a copy, you just need to sign a release form.
I started my bloodwork at one RE and then switched to Cornell. I just requested a copy of all my medical records.....and said I wanted a copy (b/c I was to afraid to tell them I was switching)
I am going to send you FM about Cornell!

Not a huge process, just ask for a copy of your files, sign a release form, and your on your way. No need to repeat any of the testing you've already done.

Yep, what everyone else said. Cornell will accept all your previous testing. Some things they will make you take again because they need it current or its over a year old. Easy to switch. Some places make you pay for your medical records, which is disgusting because we've given them enough money already. Hopefully not your case. Good luck.
