this made me *contentsmile*
so yesterday we all went food shopping (me, the hubs, the luc) and as we were checking out, the lady bagging our groceries says to my husband something like "wow, she must be a chef. she really likes to cook. look at all her spices (herbs...they were really herbs but I digress  ) you must be a happy man"
not sure why it made me feel so happy but it did. I guess I just put so much effort and pride into getting down to it and building our food from the ground up, but it's never really acknowleged. it made me  and I thought of all of you ladies who do the same.  to herbs and spices.

Your husband IS a lucky man.
I don't know how I would have felt.. I mean.. I would have been gratified by the compliment, but I might have been put off my the assumption that *I* would be cooking.
