pushed to day 5
I was CRUSHED this morning when I got the call! (glad I cam to work!)
But the more I read it seems the better the chances are w/ day 5. Any input on this?

day 5 is better but some embroys dont make it to day 5. my re does a 3 day transfer.

I was really nervous when my RE mentioned the possibility of a Day 5 transfer. I was so afraid I would end up with nothing. The truth is, I am sure your RE wouldn't risk it if he didn't think there was an amazing chance you would have super embryos on Day 5. Some studies even increase success rates to 75% with Day 5 transfers - that is amazing! I think this is going to turn out to be a great thing for you!!! Try to relax and good luck!!!!!!!!!

I have heard that 5 day transfers are really good bc the embie is at the perfect spot to implant.
mine was a 5 day transfer and it gave the embies a chance to hatch and they both took!

This is true....a lot of embryos don't make it to day 5...
You said you only had 3 embryos fertilized so I am very surprised they are doing a 5 day transfer.....
I am at Cornell and most of the times they do a 5 day transfer only with 10 or more embryos...very surpised to hear that about 3 embryos...you must have some strong amazing embryos!!! which is a great news!!!

I did a day 5... which worked for me.
From what I understand...
Embryos grow better in your body.
They would do a day 5 transfer if you have quite a few that look good... to ensure implant of the best one.
So, if you have 3 that look good & are thinking of placing back 2, maybe this will pick the strongest 2.
That being said, I placed back my 2 "best" and only one (clearly the "really best" I was told) made it.
