What color blinds should we get?

I'm having a tough time picking a color or style of blinds/shades. We have a cape dormered home. Brick on the front top/back and sides is beige siding. The windows are brown framing...SO, what color style to get? I think white would look odd and going to dark would make the house look darker front the front...we also have wooden floors and the inside window framing is like an oak color wood. The walls are being painted somewhat of a taupe or deep beige/light brown color...we have espresso color furniture - somewhat of that pottery barn/modern decor.

Any recommendations?

not sure if it is your taste, but what about those wooden distressed looking blinds?
it sounds like it might enhance it.
