Recommend your flat iron
I have wavy/curly/frizzy hair. If I have time to style my hair, I just use a thick round brush and a blow dryer. The only time I've ever used a flat iron on my hair was at the salon.
I went for a different look and now have side swept bangs. I'd like to get a flat iron mainly to use on my bangs and the hair around my face.
What brand(s) do you recommend and where did you buy it? Around how much should I expect to spend? Is there really a difference between cheaper and more expensive flat irons? Do you have any tips on using a flat iron? TIA!

I like the Chi, You can get it at ulta for 125. If you dont want to spend that much, just go to ulta and check out anything that is ceramic. HTH

Chi is definetly the best but I use hot tools because I refuse to spend $125 on a straightner. HTH

I got a Chi flat iron at Harmon and used BBB coupon and got 20% off so it was around $100.

Re: Recommend your flat iron
I have used the original Chi for many years and loved it!!
Then I got the GHD and it's a totally different world!!! The Chi is great, but in my opinion the GHD is better!! It heats up MUCH faster, beeps when it's ready, and just overall feels like a higher quality.
That said, the GHD is like double the price of the Chi.... so depending on what you are willing to spend, the Chi would be absolutely fine!!!!!
Both irons make my hair so silky and shiny!!! I'm ADDICTED!!!!
