Table
So I bought this table and it was lime green, I wanted to refurbish it b/c I love the shape of it, after sanding I found out some of it is compressed wood, so I can't stain it.
Then I decided I would just paint & glaze it to give it a french country distressed look, well the picture I had in my head didn't appear in front of me.
Any ideas on what to do with it now???? Image Attachment(s):

Re: Table
What exactly happened? The picture doesnt show what colors it is? Have you thought of painting it say a flat cream and distressing the edges by sanding? Then you put a clear coat glaze as a finishing touch.

Re: Table
Well it came out as a distressed light green, I wanted to do the grayish green which would be a french country look, I mixed the green paint with the glaze, i wonder if thats why?
Should I paint it then put the glaze on by itself?
Also should I have the top of it as a wood color?
This is what I am going for: Image Attachment(s):
