Please recommend your foundation
I am looking for something new. I have oily skin and need something that wont make me break out or look shiny all day. I am trying to stay away from the mineral make up. Price is not an option.
Any suggestions?

Dior Flash!! Foundation in a can!!
or...
If you want a drugstore option, I picked up Almay Smartshade Makeup at Target the other day and wore it today and my skin looked great! I used the Smartshade blush and Clinique Stay Matte pressed powder over it. I also used a primer, which I don't normally do and it really stayed on all day long.

Ive never used a primer, so forgive my ignorance, but does it make you oilier? I use a moistuizer under my make up is that the same thing?

Dior Airflash is good, but I did get oily skin issues during the day.
I am currently using The L'oreal Roller foundation (there was a thread about it late last week I think). It is actually really great and I have really oily skin and yesterday didn't need to use a blotting paper or anything and I was outside for several hours!

No, a primer basically "sets" the foundation and would help w/ the oiliness, however, it may cause breakout issues if you have acne-prone skin. I'm sure there is a matte primer out there. I will do a search and report back.

Re: Please recommend your foundation
I have extremely oily skin and use Make Up For Ever's Mat Velvet foundation. I use DermaDoctor's Tease Zone as a primer after moisturizer -- it's an oil control gel.

Ah thanks for the clarification! I feel like I know nothing about make up.
Thanks for all the suggestions girls! Looks like I am going shopping! I will report back...

Did you use a primer before using the foundation?

No, I've never found a primer that doesn't make me break out. I just avoid primers completely.

Of all the primers I've tried, Guerlain's L'or Radiance is the only one that doesn't make me breakout or make me greasy. It definitely has a different consistency than most primers, which are silicone based.
