Please sell me on Tinted Moisturizers!
Background: I have a VERY dry skin and VERY sensitive skin.
I am "willing" to give tinted moisturizer a try. I use mineral make up foundation.
But I HATE liquid foundation so I want nothing that is greasy, heavy or feel like I have a "residule" on my skin. I want nothing that will clog my pores.
I have fair skin so I can't look ashy or orange.
OK.... now could you please recommend a good one that will look natural and does not feel heavy and won't stain everything I own.
TIA

Re: Please sell me on Tinted Moisturizers!
I tried tinted moisturizer for the first time this weekend. I bought MAC's and I love it. It feels like I have nothing on my face and gives pretty good coverage. My skin doesnt look dry at all and it lasts all day.
My skin is also dry and sensitive and I was using bare minerals but felt it was looking a little cakey lately.

I have a clinique tinted moisturizer that I love. Its very light and has just enough coverage to cover up my redness. My skin always looks great when I use it. However I don't know how hydrating it would be for your dry skin. You would prob have to use a moisturizer then the tinted moisturizer over that. Not sure if that's too many steps for you. HTH

Re: Please sell me on Tinted Moisturizers!
I don't use tinted moisturizer, bc I have tried few and they all made my face very shiny after a while , they felt heavy on my skin or I broke out (and I never break out) So the best thing I have discovered is to mix a bit of foundation, maybe a drop or 2 , depending how much coverage you need with your regular moisturizer, works REALLY well for me and it's the only "tinted moisturizer" I ever use. Not sure if this makes a difference, but I have olive complexion and combination skin, never dry.

This has been my experience as well, even if the tinted moisturizer was oil-free. It didn't moisturize my skin in any way, just made it greasy.
I really like Make Up For Ever's Face & Body Liquid Makeup. It's a very light, water based foundation. Sephora carries it.
Revlon's New Complexion is another foundation that I like because it's lightweight, but provides light to medium coverage.
FWIW, I have very dry skin since becoming pregnant. I use a 10% alpha hydroxy acid (Alpha Hydrox products) every morning, then apply my moisturizer and then makeup. It's made a significant difference!

i have dry, sensitive skin and I can't wear tinted moisturizers.
I'm allergic to MAC, StudioGear, and 1 other one.
Like the others said, they make my face feel greasy and shiny, not moisturized.

Sorry but they do NOTHING for me. I need more coverage. They just make me look greasy with bad skin instead of matte with bad skin!

I also have dry sensitive skin with some redness. I tried the neutrogena tinted moisturizer first. I like it, but don't love it. I'm going to try a different brand though because it helped even out my skin tone and kept my skin moisturized under my mineral foundation

Re: Please sell me on Tinted Moisturizers!
I have laura mercier and stila tinted moisturizer.
I like the stila more (which surprised me)...
I really like the stila illuminating tinted moisturizer. It's different from the original tinted mositurizer (I think Laura has an illuminating one too). These are great if you want a more dewy look rather than total coverage. It has a shimmer in it.
ETA: I don't know that it helps...but the stila doesnt stain anything, and it's good moisture and not greasy.
