Do you want a warm color, dark color, cool or light color? What colors are the other rooms that are off the kitchen? You want your rooms to flow. What kind of colors have you thought about doing?

It really depends of what other colors you have going on in your house, but off the cuff-I like a sage green in kitchens.

I can't even tell you what I have thought of because I have ranged from colors in the maroon, red family, to basic beige.
I wanted something warm but there isnt a ton of wall space.
Off the kitchen is my dining room which is Behrs Lost Atlantis (purply-blue) Then in the front of hte house is my living room/hall which the living room is a green/grey and the hall is a pale tan/yellow.
Hope the pics below help. Image Attachment(s):

I agree with the sage, but then again my kitchen is sage so maybe I am a little biased.

Re: Kitchen Paint Help needed
My first thought is Tan/beige color for the kitchen. Since you have a purle/blue color right in the DR which you said is right next to the kitchen. You can still do a nice warm Tan. Maybe something like BM Lenox Tan. A medium tone Tan. Something that compliments your cabinets, backsplash & countertops. Pick up paint samples that are medium tone Tans and see what you like with your kitchen.
What are the other color names? Maybe if I see them all together I can come up with something else. I think the Purple/blue is throwing me off. It's a bold color, so that is why I'm thinking tan for the kitchen. I'm trying to think what flows with the DR and the rest of the house. Are your rooms there own rooms or are they open to to each other?

Re: Kitchen Paint Help needed
I have to look up the other color names.
The kitchen is a totally separate room. There is a single doorway to the dining room and then a single door way next to the hallway/living room.
I will look up the other color names and let you know.
Thanks for all the suggestions I really appreciate it!
ETA: Here are all the surrounding colors
Dining room (doorway off EIK area) is Behrs Lost Atlantis Living room Behrs Rhino Hallway Behrs Cornerstone
Thanks Again!!!

Re: Kitchen Paint Help needed
a sage color does sound good, or maybe a light coffee color, kinda a warm creamy brown, it might look nice against the backsplash and counter as well.

Re: Kitchen Paint Help needed
Thanks all! I dont want Sage, I just did my bathroom in Sage and although I like it I just dont want it in my kitchen.
I do want something warm, contrasting with the backsplash unlike now.
A warm coffee would be nice, and I have to look up some beige (adobe beige ?) colors too. Our bathroom should be done in the next week and once that is done DH is all set to paint the kitchen immediately so I have about a week maybe 2 to decide.
Thanks again, keep the suggestions coming!

BM Spanish Red.
I'm biased, b/c my kitchen is this color, but I love how warm it's made the room.

How about something in a blushy Burgundy not too deep. I think I see a flecks of wine/Burgundy in your countertops.
