Pros/Cons of a Sleigh Bed?

Just wondering your thoughts... Looking into bedroom sets and saw a set we liked that has a sleigh headboard, but a platform footboard... Im torn because I always liked the look of a complete sleigh bed... For those who have both kinds, what do you like/dislike about them? DH is a complete comforter hogger... Does it help that it gets tucked in at the foot of the bed?

This is the bed we're thinking of getting... Its made my Ashley... How is their quality? We would prob be buying from NC since its a bit cheaper

I have a sleigh with a footboard...

I love it because its so much easier to make the bed!

Check out Peter Andrews for the Ashley set.. I ordered 2 Ashley Coffee tables from them and they were significantly cheaper than Ashley. And you don't have to pay for deliver if you can pick it up... As for the quality, its great. Its solid wood and the colors are great.

As for the sleigh bed... I'm getting my bed delivered next month. Its similar to the one you posted, sleigh bed, with no footboard. It was exactly what I wanted. I don't have it yet, so I'm not much help with pro/cons of the sleigh bed...

I love that!! I don't like footboards because I scooch down to the end of the bed so I can dangle my feet.
