I don't get it...
I've been on WW for 3 weeks now, consistently - I stay within 20 points everyday, and on the weekend I eat some of the flex points. I eat very healthy - usually granola in the AM, yogurt for a snack, salad for lunch, piece of fruit for a snack, and a healthy dinner, like steamed fish with veggies and couscous.
I also started walking an hour and a half everyday.
I know it's working - my clothes are feeling looser. But, the scale says I'm GAINING! I've gained 2lbs in the last 3 weeks...
WTH????

Re: I don't get it...
sounds like you're losing fat and gaining muscle
don't worry about the scale- it will catch up

I agree. Hang in there Beth. I went through the same thing. It took about a month and the scale is finally moving for me but like you I knew all was good because my clothes were getting loose.

Re: I don't get it...
When I start exercising, I always gain a and hold onto a few pounds the first few weeks. Your muscles can retain water for a while. It will come off...just keep doing what you are doing...

Keep doing what you're doing but make sure you are eating ALL of your points every day.
Really log your food down for a week and show it to your leader. Ask her/him to analyze it for you. There may be some annoying food throwing all of your hard work off.
I give you a lot of credit. Keep up the good work.

Re: I don't get it...
Thanks I vaguely remember the same thing happened when I lost all the weight before Yael - the first few weeks I was gaining. So I guess I'll just keep it up and hope for the best!

Re: I don't get it...
this is why I don't weigh myself
I let my clothes tell me if I am losing or gaining

Maybe you have PMS?
Ever since I had DS I gain 5 pounds every month when I have PMS/my period. Then, like magic it is gone.

Re: I don't get it...
Nope. Had my period a week ago - it was my first post-partum, so I think some of this might be my body readjusting itself after the baby now that I'm cycling again.

Re: I don't get it...
Frustrating, isn't it? I'm dealing with the same thing right now - eating well, working out, and not seeing ANY encouragement from the scale. My pants feel a little looser, but I'd really love something less subjective, like numbers to tell me I'm doing the right thing...
