We were completely open to everything except a high ranch. We both grew up in one and wanted something different. We ended up falling in love with a colonial.

we we're pretty open, but I did have my heart set on colonials. I have a colonial now, but it's certainly far from my dream home! Don't ever let the style of house stop you. I saw ranches nicer than the house we have!!

I will buy anything but a Split level/ high ranch.

I really want a open floor plan & a specific property.

I really really wanted a Victorian but, I was open to colonials. I def wasn't interested in any other type of house, so I told my realtor not to bother setting up appointments to look at anything other then those. She didn't listen cause she thought if I saw some different types I would change my mind. I saw a bunch of ranches, capes, split levels... I didn't change my mind. I eventually had to find a new realtor. I ended up with a center hall colonial (which I totally love!) but, I still dream about owning a Victorian.

I was not open to other types of houses. I wanted a Victorian and got one. My Realtor tried to show us Colonials and Splanches etc but I always went back to the Victorian.

We looked at everything else, splanches, ranches, splits, colonials etc.

We wound up buying a ranch both our first and second time out. I told DH I think we are just ranch people.
I love they layout of ranches!
