Any must-do's in Saratoga Springs?

When are you going? The best time is the summer...August especially. That's when the city is the best....kind of like a smaller version of a classy Manhattan. People are so happy and friendly there...great restaurants (The Parting Glass is a great pub!, Beverly's for lunch and Hattie's is an absolute MUST for the best fried chicken you have ever had), nice shopping, good nightlife.
August is insanely busy and $$ because it's the racetrack season so book early!
