I went to Lancaster several years ago. I stayed at the Revere Inn on Rte 30 - it's a best western. they seriously had the most comfortable bed I ever slept in there.  There is a restaurant on the property that is really nice.
There's a load of outlet shopping plus there are tours of Amish country.
