Next step...to wait????

So the contracts are signed and everything seems to be in place. We are looking at a closing date of the last week in June...but NOW WHAT??

Any suggestions of what we should be doing in this next month and a half?!?

It seems so far away, especially since I have nothing to do!

you did everything like the appraisal, the engineers, termite?

If so and all is ago....i would start thinking about what you are going to need for moving

Start pricing out insurance and deciding what company you want to go with that is the biggest thing if you did everything the previous post mentioned. In order to close you are going to have to have that set up. Other than that the rest is a waiting game. Good luck!

Also - follow up with your mortgage broker (or banker) once in awhile to make sure that everything is on track with the banks.

We got the engineer, appraisal and termites so that stuff is done.

Since I am off today maybe I can try getting some quotes for insurance. I know my mortgage broker told us she would need that info about a week or two before closing.

We are already living out of boxes, since we just moved back to NY from florida about a month ago.

This is going to be a long month and a half!!!
