make it stop - i don't want to paint anymore!!! WAHHHH
I banged in sick today just to have day three of painting in the bag and its still not done. We had multi problems with the ceiling but its all done, we just have to fix some areas, finish up on the crown and finish on the bow window.
in the front bedroom i just have to touch up the ceiling, paint the doors and dh has to paint the closet (he really REALLY can't paint so he is banished to door and closet detail)
I just want to be done already. We can't afford to redo the fireplace so we are saving that for the summer. So I will have pictures by Saturday/Sunday of everything. I just wish we could afford new furniture but for how much we have done in so little time i am just happy to not look at wood paneling/pumkin and green walls and forest green carpet anymore!
BTW when painting accent walls, rip the tape off right after your done painting do not wait until its dry otherwise you rip off the paint!

completely feel your pain.....we had to paint 12 rooms in our house.  But we did that over 4 months before we moved in.  I don't want to paint anything anymore either, but I need to finish out entryway and we have to paint our laundry room.

It took me a year and a half to get over paint burn out and I only painted the first floor. After the 1.5 yo I moved upstairs and I'm doing one room, 5 months later, another room, and so on. I do it by myself too so, it can get tiresome. But, I'm sooo happy with the finished product.

WAAAH !! ME TOO! i will hopefully be painting my kitchen by the end of this week! i am sloppy unfortunately.
if you use a blow dryer on the tape, that would work to keep the paint on the wall...

Ugh-I feel your pain.
I make it worse because I am known to not be happy with the first or second color I choose and repaint again and again and again and again.
Like you, DH stinks at painting so it's usually me painting. I just finished painting our master bath and water closet. So happy that is done.

ugh i am just done with living in our bedroom its really not fun, plus having kraft paper down for two weeks is a bit much since i can't vacuum it and their is dust everywhere.
I will be working again tonight and tomorrow night so thurs we can pull the kraft paper off the floors sweep and steam mop and get the rooms setup.
