New to LIF
Hi everyone!!
I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I was a lurker on this board for the longest time- I love love love what you did with all your homes (been following breathlessly)- and now that we are in contract on a house that needs a TON of work and almost total remodeling, I decided to join in the hopes that you guys can be my inspiration and give me some much needed pointers and hand holding through the home renewal turmoil. You guys are so talented!!!

Thanks for the welcome... We are (hopefully)
closing on a place in Melville... The house is cute in space but the previous owners did nothing to it and just sort of let it go. (Think older couple- plaid on the walls, dark and sad house, black wood floors)... We are hoping to slowly revive it as far as the dollar will stretch, but DH and I are not handy at all! Without this board, I would be raped by every contractor... We are sitting ducks! LOL!
