Re: Fat Smash Diet

OMG, that's so funny that you posted this! I just started yesterday...and it was great! The only thing I can't give up is my one cup of coffee in the mornings...otherwise, it was pretty easy.

I had oatmeal for breakfast, banana as a snack, grilled veggies and some bean salad for lunch, 4 egg whites (from hard-boiled eggs), and brown rice w/ veggies for dinner. Oh, and some fruit for dessert.

So far so good...let me know how you do! Good luck!

Re: Fat Smash Diet

It's the diet/lifestyle from Dr. Ian Smith from Celebrity Fit Club. He has a book that I'm going to get today but here's the basics of the first phase (there are 4):

Phase 1 of the plan is a nine-day "detox" period designed to cleanse the impurities from your system and rid you of all your bad habits, so you can begin to prepare your "temple." Calories are significantly reduced and water is used to flush the body. You are told to eat four to five meals, whether you're hungry or not. Skipping meals is not allowed at any phase.

In the first phase of the Fat Smash Diet, food choices should be eaten raw, grilled or steamed. Fats are limited to a maximum of 3 tablespoons, with 1 to 2 teaspoons olive oil per day. Allowed foods include unlimited fruits and vegetables (except white potatoes or avocado), chickpeas, lentils, tofu, and beans. It also permits limited amounts of brown rice; low-fat, skim, or soy milk; oatmeal; low-fat yogurt; egg whites; and herbal tea. This is the total menu for nine days.

Oh yay! Someone else doing it! See I am kind of freaking out lol. I don't eat eggs and the thought of oatmeal without sugarChat Icon lol. I am a carb-aholic so it's going to be rough. I am happy about the fruit though and I think it will pull me through. I'm going to get the book in a little while but do you know how much ff dressing we are allowed each day? Also are herbs/spices unlimited? Good luck, keep me posted! Feel free to FM meChat Icon
