Those who had their cats from when they were kittens...
...at what age did they start to calm down and act like lazy cats instead of crazy psychos? 
My babies turned a year last month and they are still as wild as they were at 9 weeks old.
Chasing each other, running wild, wrestling, banging into walls.
Don't get me wrong- it's adorable and I love the kitten stage. They are so much fun to watch and so entertaining.
I was just curious how old yours were when they calmed down?
Maybe it's because we have 2 and they feed off each other.
They do still sleep like 20 hours a day, dont' get me wrong.
But the other 4 hours they have like 4 individual witching hours where they are buck wild!

I feel they never calm down until they get much older.
My mom's cats - all who were adopted when kittens are old & quiet now. One of them is close to 17 years old, the other 2 are about 12.
Our furbaby is 3 & still as active & nutty as when we got him. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the fact that he's by himself the entire day & sleeps. So when DH & I get home, he uses his energy than.

Maggie is almost 3 and still a terror
Pokey is 10 - got him at 7- he was always good but he is also pure-breed persian - so I don't think I can compare him to Maggie (who was born in a garage to a stray cat)

I think Monty started to calm down at about 3 years old. He'll be 5 in August, but he still likes to play and go crazy, but he's not into everything like he used to be. He actually left the Christmas tree alone this year!

Izzy and Bella are going to be 2. they have their moments and for the most part they are lap cats and enjoy chilling.
Bella is a bit of a terror and stalks us.
She bites and instigates fights with her brother.
He lets her.

Mine are 2.5 and still run around like lunatics - sometime I think they are killing each other with the amount of noise they produce. But then five minutes later they'll be all cuddled up on the couch together.
My other cat I got when she was a year old and is not as crazy as the other two. I think it has something to do with the fact they are litter mates and never lost that play fighting instinct they had from when they were kittens.

They calmed down from kitten crazy at about 1-1 1/2 years old. They still do run and chase and play and do annoying things, but not like when they were kittens.

i havent had my cat since he was a kitten, but i wanted to say that he's 8 years old & there are still moments where im like HOLY COW CALM DOWN! lol
but for the most part, hes lazy haha

my cat is 7 and he still is crazy. I think it took him until like 4 or 5. I didnt sleep for years!
