Selfish vent about my dh
Ok...I am a little upset. I knew my dh wasnt getting my a card or anything for mothers day (I am 6 months pregnant) and I am totally fine with that. He doesnt believe in it really, which is ok. But, every year since weve been together, he has woken me up on mothers day and wished me a happy mothers day because he couldnt wait for us to have kids. He always told me what a wonderful mother i would be and he was so excited for when our time came. Now this year, while I am pregnant with our child, he hasnt said ONE WORD! I dont know why, but it bothers me SO MUCH. How much would it take for him just to say, happy mothers day, I mean I am carrying a human being inside of me!!!!!
OK selfish vent over.

Its ok! You can vent away..I'm sorry you feel so hurt 
I think you should talk to him and tell him what you told us...ask him if there was a reason for not at least acknowleding that you are carrying his baby. Its not meant to make you feel badly, I mean he is a guy and may not be thinking too clearly right now...but I know you feel hurt, as I would-I would tell my DH exactly how I feel. See his reaction and explain why you feel that way. He should understand.

That's what I was thinking too.
I would ask him what's going on since it seems out of character from what you've said. I know I often overlooked DH's anxiety about our babies while they were in utereo.
Try to do something that makes you feel special...even if it's just going out for ice cream( you know extra calcium)...

That's what I was thinking.
My DH is the same way. His mom wanted to send something and he told her not too. He thinks its bad luck until the baby is born.
He did give me a card from the cat, but that was it. It was just like another day otherwise.
