Florida with toddler

We are looking into going to Florida next month to visit an uncle with our 21-month-old. Afterwards, I am looking for a child friendly resort near ft. lauderdale or Miami. All I could find online that we liked was Club Med in Port St. Lucie which is a little too far north. I am worried about it being too cold there in March so would like to go as far south as possible. We want 1+ pools, activities for toddlers, beach, and either all-inclusive food or easy access to a variety of restaurants. (NO DISNEY, did that last year)

I know The Breakers in palm beach is family friendly and it's supposed to be gorgeous. Here's the link to the site: Breakers

We stayed at the Key Biscayne Ritz Carlton a few years ago and it was really nice. There were lots of families there, they have a great pool with a waterfall. The Miami Seaquarium is a few minutes from there too, which your son would love.

Also, what about a cruise? RCCL has 3-night cruises out of ft. lauderdale and miami that go to the bahamas. I know you are pregnant but I think most cruises allow you to go if you're under 26 weeks.

Thats our backup plan. We are worried about sharing such a small room with Landon. He wont sleep.

Thanks, I'll check those other places out.

we went to casa marina resort when DS#1 was 10 months. It is a beautiful resort...has a kids pool...walking distance to mallory square, but not that close that it was really quiet at night.
