Since becoming a mom...
I find myself overly sensitive when it comes to other babies. If I somehere without my son and I see a baby I want to hold them
Today on the train I almost started bawling. A man was holding a baby and the baby started crying because they were waving goodbye to a woman (maybe baby's mom) on the platform. It broke my heart.
Does anyone else get like this? Maybe I'm just a cry baby!

Re: Since becoming a mom...
When I see little babies I just want to grab them and snuggle them! When I see older babies -- like toddler age -- I am just in awe and fascination to think that Emily will be like that one day.
The other day one of the school aids at my job had her daughter visit with the granddaughter -- who was 4 months and I asked if I could hold her and just didn't want to let go! It just reminded me of when Emily was that small - - even though it was only recently.
Babies are just amazing and now that I'm experiencing it firsthand I think I am just recognizing the miracle that they all are a little bit more.

Re: Since becoming a mom...
I was never a "baby person" before and I have to say, I'm still not. Well, with my own daughter I am
In fact, my new nephew was born in February and I saw him for the first time when he was a week old, someone asked did I want to hold him and I was like "No, I'm scared!" like I never even had a baby that age before!
I think I'm probably an oddball though!

Re: Since becoming a mom...
I was ALWAYS a baby and kid fanatic. I was always fascinated with watching babies, learning about their development and hearing toddlers and the great things they have to say, etc. My hubby and I (when we were dating) would chat with them everywhere (people probably thought we were nuts )
So Im glad we have our own to talk to and gawk over now so we dont bother anyone else's
But I do stop and watch groups of boys interact (since Im due w boy # 3) and think its so cute to see 2-3 little brothers or 2-3 little sisters. Of course both is nice, but there's something cute about the same gender clan..
did i totally go off topic ?

Re: Since becoming a mom...
I was never a baby person before either but since having one of my own, I am a little, I guess. I still don't really fawn over other babies, and I don't really know how to act around other people's kids.
But now, when I go to the stores on my lunch hour and see all the mom's with their babies, I get very mushy. It makes me miss my baby so much. I run most of my errands during lunch and it usually entails going to the mall, BBB, and BRU so all I see is mommies with their babies. I've told DH a million times that I have to stop doing that because it's torture!
