CBE Fertility Monitor - Does it let you test twice a day??
Hi Everyone!
I am starting my first round of IUI this month and I just met with the doctor yesterday. The nurse told me that he wants me to test twice a day - 7am and 4pm - starting tomorrow, to look for the surge.
Do any of you know whether you can use the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor twice a day? I have been using it for a few months, but only once a day - first thing in the morning.
Does anyone have any recommendations for other OPKs if you can't use the CBE fertility monitor twice a day??
TIA!!!

You're going to need to use the OPK's, not the monitor. With the monitor you need to use it during a 4-6 hour window everyday. The CBE OPK's should be fine, I believe that is what my RE's office recommended.

I was surprised when they didn't recommend a kit. I even asked them about the monitor and they suggested you could still use that!
Do you have any suggestions for the kit to use? Those digital CBE ones (the smiley face ones) seem to get good reviews - but they are so expensive! And since he wants me to start testing so early I imagine needing at least 7-10 days worth of sticks.

Yeah, the CBE monitor only reads once per day....maybe you could use that in the a.m. and an OPK in the afternoon? I think the smiley face ones are easiest to read....no guessing with the lines. But, they are expensive. I used various two line ones....harder to read, but they work fine.
