where did you have your HSG?

my dr. wants me to have an HSG. I called a number of places today and they all told me they don't perform that test.

Where did you go for yours? I have United Healthcare for my med. ins. I also live in Suffolk County

I have the same insurance and was able to do in either Mather or St Catherine. One other place too but I cant remember..

ETA- I had a hard time finding a place to and I finally found it through looking on the insurance website.
I can send you the numbers tomorrow that I got and you can call them if you want.

I didn't either. I was even more confused when the directions took me to the hospital

I had mine done at Nassau Radiology. I believe they have a ton of locations all over LI

I had mine at the Zwanger-Pesiri in Plainview. My Dr preformed mine, he has a room just for him there.

I had both of mine done at Medical Arts Radiology (one in Patchogue and one in Bay Shore). I think their website is medicalartsradiology.com

Zilkha Radiology in West Islip. The doctor that performed the test was very nice.

I highly recomend Dr Zilkah in West Islip, I swear it was the best dr. Ive ever seen, I loved him, he was funny and explained everything and made the experience relaxing for me...

Had mine done at BAB in Bayshore - i would NOT suggest going there because they have old equipment - regular x-rays not digital and you get better results with digital.

I was told that Good Sam has an excellent staff that does HSG and much better equipment.

I did two. One at St. Catherine's and the other at Good Sam's. Good Sam's was more "high tech". But, St. Catherines seemed like they knew better what they were doing.
