SLR people........do you look at histograms?
I used to think they were just too scientific for me but now I am obsessed in looking at them. They are really neat. The thing is, if I were to shoot in RAW I would have more opportunities to get colors right (there is only so much you can correct on a jpeg). I'm so new at this but there is a lot to sink my teeth into!

yes and no, at times i don't because its a very quick fire shoot where its too much going on at once. But if i have a chance to take my time to setup then hell yea! less timed editing is great!
as far as raw i completely agree. its a shame where i work my boss will not allow me to shoot in raw completely says no, so it makes me very annoyed!
jpg's are great and all but your compressing a file and loosing info - its fine for a final version but i rather death with a RAW converter anytime! If you have nikon and use nx software you get even more mileage with your raw photos.
