another question about IUI
Do I ovulate on my own or is it based on the medicine and when I do my trigger shot. I normally ovulated 15-17 days after I got my period.
I still haven't been told to take the trigger shot and I got my period on 1/16.
just uncertain about the whole ovulation thing

I took mine on the 11th day and I don't naturally ovulate till much later. It all depends on how many follies you have and their size. So basically it it based on the medicine, not your natural cycle. Are you being monitored?

You "trigger" the ovulation.
So yup, you ovulate after the med is taken (regardless of when you normally do).
