Do you feel like you need to change your foundation from time to time?

I don't know if my skin is changing (I turned 28 in Nov.) but my makeup looks like crap after a 2-3 hours.
Last Nov. I switched from a mineral make up (I was happy with it just wanted to try something new) to MAC liquid mineral makeup and it was great. My skin looked flawless and would get complemented on it.

Now my skin is breaking out a lot and the make up feels like I have make up which I don't like and didn't happen before.
I recently bought Bare Minerals Matte which I like but sometimes I feel I need more coverage.

I do use a primer but maybe I am using the wrong one.
Right now I have Aqua Prime by Lorac, Pore Minimizing by Urban Decay and Prime Time by Bare Essecentuals (just got this 2 days ago).

Any suggestions on what to use?
should I try not putting on moisturizer under the primer?

yes. i rotate every 4 months i'd say..


i go from cream foundation (like covergirl aquasmooth)

to

a liquid foundation

and then back to bare escentuals...


right now, i'm back to bare..and realize i never should have left.

what do u use to apply the foundation?

I'm just asking because i was using my fingers for a while and it seems the oils from my finger was being rubbed into my sking and causing breakouts. Now i use a sponge or brush it really helped...

if its the foundation thats def causing it switch to an oil free...
