Ovidrel ?
When I went for my consult my dr gave me the script for the Ovidrel. I start my monitering on 2/4. Will they tell me when to fill it or is it OK to fill it this weekend? I am just afraid I won't have it for when I should.
Thanks!

Re: Ovidrel ?
Not sure what your insurance is but for me I couldn't go to a regular pharmacy. I took my first ovidrel script to CVS and had to pay out of pocket. After that I ordered from Freedom Pharmacy which took my insurance and I only had to pay $5. Just thought I'd share that!

actually im glad someone mentioned this - how much was it out of pocket?
i have united but my insurance wont cover any injectable drugs. im going to the RE tomorrow where I'm that my follies are ready or getting there. i also hope they can donate the shot to me - unless its not that expensive out of pocket..

i just started united in january - my company switched over from cigna. unfortunately the plan is comparable to my cigna plan - neither of which covered injectable meds.
that def doesnt mean anything about your plan - my plan just stinks. no infertility coverage at all...

Re: Ovidrel ?
well looking through I can't tell if it's covered. I have to call this medco # to see. I do have infertility benefits but I think I only have a 10K max for IVF for the lifetime that I am with the plan.

Re: Ovidrel ?
I paid $98 (out of pocket) at CVS.
I would fill it now...one less thing to have to worry about later on.
I was told to keep mine in the fridge.

Re: Ovidrel ?
I filled my shot at CVS and it was just my tier 3 co-pay, $50. It cost the same with Freedom for me and I have Oxford. I was going to use Freedom, but once I found out that CVS carried all the drugs I needed and it was going to cost me the same, I went with them.

CVS charged me $108 out of pocket a few weeks ago.

Re: Ovidrel ?
I called my benefits and apparently I have to fill it through the specialty pharmacy...freedom. They won't take the script from me so I have to call the Dr office to have them fax it in. It looks like it's $40.00 from the price they show on the website but I am not sure if that is general price or if it goes specific to your benefits. I guess I will find out Monday.

Re: Ovidrel ?
I had to pay $85 oop for mine. I also went to a special pharmacy because my doc said they would probably have to order it at CVS.
