I can help with dessert ideas!

Are you wanting something fruity then? I've been obsessed with food blogs and have SO many recipes saved from them!

Let's see if any of these would work... (hold on while I try to find something specialChat Icon)

Re: For those staying in...Valentine's Day Menus

Hayley... you are KILLING ME.

I believe that we are having a change of plans and that my sister may be taking the boys the day before VDay. In which case I am making Chateaubriand with button mushrooms and a red wine demi glace. I also am planning on duchesse potatoes and probably artichokes with Hollandaise dipping sauce.

I'd like to start with either raw or fried oysters. The ending will be happy.. but before that I'm thinking of trying my hand at bananas Foster or maybe a lemon raspberry trifle..

Re: For those staying in...Valentine's Day Menus

We are staying in and I have already planned my menu.

I am making a Brie en Croute with black cherry jam and toasted pignolis, and bacon wrapped ricotta filled dates for appetizer.

Beef Wellington with a Pinot Noir reduction.

Roasted Garlic Mashed Red Skin potatoes

Sauteed baby bella mushrooms in a balsamic glaze.

For dessert, his favorite. Chocolate Fudge Mint Cheesecake.
