Hungry hungry hungry spells?
I may have mentioned this before but it seems every few months I go through these really hungry phases and no matter what I eat, I am hungry like 5 minutes later. It is so bizarre. I'd say it lasts about a week and isnt necessarily around the time of Aunt Flo but this time it is.
I just cannot get full and it drives me nuts! Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me? Ugh it is so annoying!
Update: Ok this is what I ate yesterday, it felt like so much..is this normal? It is all pretty healthy but still...
3 hard boiled egg whites and high fiber oatmeal for breakfast
1/2 grapefruit
greek yogurt
apple
Turkey on a whole wheat wrap and a side of brocolli
5 pretzel rods
Balance Bar
3 cookies (bc I was so hungry and ran out of food at work)
1.5 chicken cutlets, brocolli rabe and cous cous
A few chips and salsa
Lots of water and 2 cups of green tea.

Happens to me too. Sometimes eating more protein helps or drinking something hot. Sounds silly but it make me feel fuller.

Yes... I try drinking milk or coffee.. or having a dish of cereal at night helps me.

YES too often!
No advice cause I usually eat a piece of fruit and that doesn't work, then some cottage cheese, that doesn't work, then some peanut butter....bamm I eat the whole container!

Yes this happens to me too at times and honestly I end up just snacking more and more and then somehow find a way to control myself! Sorry no advice to give just letting you know you are not the only one!

Ok it has got to be hormonal then. I noticed it happens like 4-5 times a year where I feel like I am eating myself out of house and home.
PS - I updated above with what I ate yesterday.

wait! this is what you ate in an entire day and it feels like a lot??? It looks like a normal day of food for me or even less than what I'd eat in a day. YIKES, no wonder I'm so fat
