Green Beans

I have two cans of green beans but am drawing a blank on what to do with them. I would like to keep it veggie friendly. Any suggestions?

Not a fan of canned green beans except in Green Bean Casserole.

Maybe if you have some non-vege eating kids you can put them in a stew or soup? Maybe blend them and add to tomatoe sauce.

Donate them to a food pantry?

my grandma made a dish years ago

she used canned green beans, canned potatos and diced tomatoes. drained the green beans and potatos and cooked all together with the diced tomatoes.

She used it as a side dish with pot roast but maybe you can add some chick peas or white beans to add some protein

Green beans and potatoe salad

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds red potatoes 3/4 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil 1 small red onion, chopped salt and pepper to taste 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 1 clove garlic, minced 1 dash Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

I like to mix them with beans and a little olive oil and red wine vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste
