Our 3 year is in April this year.Chat Icon

We are doing Sydney and Bali in the fall.

I would also consider Maldives, Egypt, Dubai, Peru, Solomon Islands, Anguilla and Thailand again as well.

Bali is gorgeous!

Maybe we will do the Maldives or Peru. They have been on my to visit list for a while before we had the baby.

Maldives was my original honeymoon pick but we ended up going to Bora Bora instead.

We are very excited about Bali!

Go for Maldives! Looks absolutely gorgeous! Chat Icon

You are going to love Bali.

I saw from the Thailand post that you loved the Thai temples. In my last trip to Asia, I had gone to both Thailand and Indonesia as well as Singapore and Malaysia. I think the main reason why I thought the thai temples weren't that great is because the bali temples were so breathtaking.

Really?! Now I'm VERY excited! I just loved the serenity and art of the temples in Thailand! Chat Icon

Any Bali hotel suggestions? We are torn between a villa in Seminyak and The Ritz in Nusa Dua.

The last time I went, I was in grad school so I was on a somewhat limited budget. We stayed at the Oberoi and had a fantastic experience. The Oberoi had the banyan tree spa and I had an amazing outdoor massage - super exotic.

If money were no object, I'd hands down stay at one of the gorgeous Aman resorts in Bali. It was out of my price range. I drool whenever I go on their website. their hotels usually cost more than a ritz or mandarin oriental. I've stayed at mandarin orientals in asia without getting sticker shock but always have to look elsewhere because i get priced out of the amans. One day I'd like to go back with DH and I'd want to stay at Aman.
