Ever come home after being out for the day to find......
that you locked your cat in the closet?!?!?!  
I was leaving in a hurry for an RE appointment and when I got home I heard meowing coming from my walk-in closet in the bedroom!!! (at least it's a big closet!)  I felt SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My poor cat was locked up in there for about 4 hours!! 
Yea, I'm gonna be a great mom!

Yeah...my cat once followed me into the den before I went to work (around 7am) and I didn't discover him until I came home around 4pm Poor thing was freaked out, and he had pooped on the rug...but you could tell he was really embarrassed about it  because he walked out of the room with his tail between his legs!

awww!! I'm glad I'm not the only one!!!
I'm just relieved my little boy didn't scratch/bite/etc. any of my things... HOWEVER.. he did manage to tear up the carpet in his attempt to 'dig' his way out!!! Poor little guy..
I don't care at all about that rug though. We're moving in a few weeks anyway!

yup! we had a wedding a few months ago and i accidently locked miller in our bedroom the whole day! i felt HORRIBLE!

Yea, I'm gonna be a great mom!
Ive done this, he loves to go in there in the morning when I get dressed. Ive also locked him in the bathroom needless to say before I leave the house I check to make sure he is out in main room. Ha

Maggie has been locked in the closet...her own fault but I do feel bad...she is not allowed in there...but she learned how to get into my current closet!
She also spent the day in the hall of my old building...she use to run out when we opened the door...I paid for that...she ate a fake plant and puked

No but i locked the dog in the bathroom and was screaming for her but she would not answer!!! never thought to look there..I freaked out had an anxiety attack.. finally I looked in there the last place and she was just standing there ..

no but I accidentally locked my dog in the bathroom. She retaliated by eating the garbage 
eta: my college roommate accidentally locked our cat in her dresser drawer. We could not figure out where the meows were coming from
