Dining room help!
I know I've asked this before but it's time to start the search again..below is a picture of my dining room now with our kitchen table in it (it will go back in once I find a proper dining table..haha)..I used to be bent on having an oval table, but I am back to the drawing board...do you guys have any suggestions? Not looking to spend a million dollars, but want quality and comfort...thanks so much!!
PS Please pardon the clutter... Image Attachment(s):

Re: Dining room help!
I think a nice pedestal table with a leaf to make it bigger when you need it would be really nice in this room. I think it would go really nice with your french doors and the hutch.
in this pic, the hutch has french doors on it. I really like the table with it.
If you want to go cheaper, Ikea has a nice white one, that I have in our Family Room. It sits six when you open it with the leaf. The leaf is stored inside the table. Or I know pottery barn has tables like this, but i'm sure there are plenty of stores that have different price ranges for these tables. GL!

Re: Dining room help!
Thanks..where did you find these? I define the style I want as transitional, as the house is neither old nor modern, so you kinda have to go in the middle..the first one seems nice...

they are just pics from Decorpad.com, sorry. I will look around and see if I find anything. I like transitional also for our home.

Re: Dining room help!
Thank you...it's alright...we have a split level home, so it's hard to define the decor..kwim? It's not country, not modern, not classic..LOL..what a PITA!

Re: Dining room help!
This one is nice from Pottery Barn and it's only $599 and it has a leaf to extend to 63" total. Nice size table. Link
This one expands to 66" with leaf. $799 link
You can use a regular chair or you could use a slipcover chair or Upholstered chair. Chair link
Slipcover chairs
Or these kind
Or these upholstered parson chairs from Target. Don't know what color you might want. link
