La Bottega - It is on Merrick road and merrick ave , in Merrick- Across from the Starbucks shopping center. I believe there is a yogurt store next door
It is a small italian bistro - with excellent Paninis
You will enjoy it

Too funny! I was just going to recommend La Bottega as well. They have some yummy salads as well.
