Las Vegas Shows

DH and I are going to Vegas next month. What are some MUST SEE shows I should book.

and should I book them in advance? online? or should I just wait until I get there.

Restaurant recommendations would be helpful as well. We are staying at the Wynn.

DH and I LOVED 'Jersey Boys', it was excellent. We didn't buy in advance, we actually went one day and got tickets for later that night.

We also saw 'Love by Cirque Du Soleil'. It was a great show, especially if you like The Beatles music! We received these tickets as a gift, so I'm not too sure if they sell out quick or not.

Re: Las Vegas Shows

"O" is my favorite Cirque show, it is expensive but worth every dime. I have seen 3 of the shows. Mystere is my 2nd favorite and a lot cheaper and sometimes you can get deals! I wasnt impressed with Ka. Havent seen Love but my mom did, hear it is fluffy and trippy but the stunts are just ok. O has some amazing stunts!

I would def book in advance if I were you, just gives piece of mind. They do have a half price ticket booth there and sometimes you can snatch up good last minute deals (like on Mystere or other things but O and Love prob wont be there at the discount booth...however I am not sure bc I havent been to Vegas in a year and the economy sucks so maybe just maybe some good shows are half price)

There are lots of great restaurants everywhere, it depends on the food. I really loved Koi in Planet Hollywood. I have to think of others that I love love, am drawing a blank!

We stayed at the Wynn too. LOVED IT! We went to go see the LOVE Cirque show and really enjoyed it. We bought tix in advance. It's at the Mirage and that night we ate at Stack. It was good. The other nights we went to China Grill (mandalay bay) and Delmonico (Venetian). Have fun! :)

We saw this one too. We both liked it a lot! We also saw O and Mystere - both really good.. A non Cirque show at Wynn is Le Reve which is awesome too.

I rather not do the broadway shows there because you can see them in NY.

We're going to Vegas in May so I want to see Love or Ka. Probably leaning to Love since Ka hasn't gotten great ratings.

I also liked Zumanity a lot. Zumanity and O were my favorites. I felt they were more unique compared to the other cirque shows.

I fell asleep during Mystere and found Ka to be very disappointing.

The "O" show is great as is Mystere.

For restaurants, I LOVED Sensi in the Bellagio. Pricey but delicious food. Delmonico's is very good too. We actually saw Emeril when we went.

The Grand Luxe in the Venetian is great for breakfast/lunch, as is the cafe by the conservatory in Bellagio.

If you enjoy Thai food, check out Noodles in the Bellagio.

Re: Las Vegas Shows

I am going Vegas on Friday and staying at the Wynn. I have tickets for LeReve so I will let you know how it is.

I am there on business so its not as fun, but being their for 8 days I will let you know if we eat anywhere that is great. When I was there in Dec. we ate in Mesa Grill -- it was ok.

I saw Cher when I was there in Dec. It was a good show -- but I got comped tickets so I can't say that I would have paid the $200 to see her.
