oh my...need some help!!
Maggie just turned 7 months, which our trainer warned us that we may see a bit of a "behavioral" change. She has been housebroken for quite some time... EXCEPT this week she has peed TWICE on MY BED- who does that???? Then tonight she got herself up on my leather ottoman and was doing this weird pose... DH and I look and she's peeing. DH just took her out an hour before to go....The few times she has had accidents in the house has been in normal places like the floor and one or twice on her own bed.
Any ideas what is going on?!?!

Re: oh my...need some help!!
In cases like this, first make sure it's not a medical issue, since a UTI can present that way.
Then, since she's reverting, so would I and act as if housetraining had never been done, and start all over again. Whatever you did then, do it again now.
I'm assuming this isn't accompanied with protective or aggressive things like guarding toys or food or growling at either of you right?
We had a lot of personality and behavioral changes in the past year or so, as ours was going through puppyhood. I just take it as it comes and ride it out. Do you have Nature's Miracle to get rid of the urine?

Re: oh my...need some help!!
I was up last night until midnight bissell steam cleaning my mattress and using the nature's miracle. She's def not an aggressive dog, although her and DH do some rough play, which is DH's fault not hers. Sometimes they do it in our bed but nothing agressive.
Could she be doing it out of nerves?? Last night DH wasn't feeling good and was laying on the couch which he never does so I don't know if that triggered it. I cursed myself because I was saying how awesome she behaves and how lucky we are.
I read a whole bunch about it last night and there are a million reasons why people say - oy hopefully this is just a puppyhood phase!!!!!!!!
