Need suggestions

I'm in a wedding in June and Luka will be 10 weeks old. I was going to ask the bride if I can bring him do you that is to young? If she says no (still not sure if I want to ask 100%) how many ounces do I need pump to make sue he has enough milk also if I keep pumping at night will my supply increase at that time because right now I only get about an ounce to an ounce and half after 7:30pm and I only pump twice durning the day which I usually get 10 ounces.

I went to a wedding when my daughter was about 15 weeks old. I had my MIL bring her to the catering hall to nurse half way through, and then take her home again. That was far less stressful to me than having her with me or figuring out how to pump for just a single day.

Depends on baby's temperment whether or not having her at the wedding would be a good idea. Its very loud and a lot of stimulation, but if your baby is easy going that might lull her right to sleep in a carseat.

Re: Need suggestions

Honestly - I think he is too young. My sister-in-law just got married last weekend and my daughter was 9 weeks and I was so happy I didn't bring her to the wedding. IMO - she is way too young. The wedding was nosy - my sister-in-law had a band and we were exhausted as it was when we got home - I just know it wouldn't of been joyful for her or for us because of the crowd and the noise.

We did take her to the hall where SIL got married and for pics at my inlaws house - which was really nice - and even there she was getting tossed around because everyone wanted to see and touch her - just something to think about.....

I agree... it's so noisy.

Have to agree. I would have a sitter. It's hard to say no when people want to see the baby - and it's pretty loud. Yes you could do it if you had to, but I wouldn't want to if it were me.

After thinking about it more, you guys are right, I will have my mom watch him but now what about the feedings, how many bottles and how many ounces. Durning the night feedings I give him bottles and he eats about 3 oz. The ceremony starts at 3pm and having my mom bring him to the hall for one feedings isn't an option because she lives 5 mins. from me in Farmingdale and the reception is at Russo's on the Bay.
