WII Fit

does anyone use this as a workout? If so, what do you do and for how long? have you seen results?

I need something cheap to do at home in the colder months. I don't have a treadmill or an eliptical

definately saw inches lost in waist with the hula hoop..
i love the step excerise and use arm weights - 5lbs - when doing it .

i saw a difference between doing it every day for an hour and eating super super healthy.

ps - you can buy the wii weights, but i wanted to save $.

HTH!

I have it and wasnt crazy about it. I have the EA active which I LOVE, and you dont need to buy the balance board for it, if you dont want to.

yeah, in all honesty, it's one of those things that you should use as a supplemental routine, rather than your MAIN routine, you know?

I did it because with my kid, I had little time to leave the house. (I just joined a gym now, figuring with my schedule I can make some time a few times a week)

if you work hard at it, and give it your all, you will see results.

i was kind of nuts, and would raise the heat while doing it, kept the fan off, and just didn't stop and kept going and aternating between all the cardio routines.

i felt great after yoga, and became more flexible.

eddiesmommy: i'll have to try the sports thing now, too! thanks for the recc! :)

I have it and love it!! I do this for over an hour a day and do the biggest loser game for wii (as well as the Power 90 program) and I've lost 7 pounds in 10 days. (i'm eating really good though) I think it's a ton of fun! my DH is actually on it right now as we speak

Re: WII Fit

I do it for about 45 minutes a day.

My routine is:
10 minute "run"
6 minute hula hoop (2x)
6 minute boxing (2x)
10 minute step

I'm buying either EA active or Biggest Loser because this stuff is getting too easy.
