Has anyone been to Jordan? Can you recommend a reliable tour operator to take us to Petra?
We are planning to go to Jordan and would like to visit Amman, Petra and Wadi Rum.

My brother just moved to Jordan. He and his wife did go to Petra before, I will ask about a tour guide.

I did, but it was about 8 years ago. We did a tour, but it was a friend of a family member that took us between Lebanon, Syria and Jordan and then throughout the cities that most interested us.
Let me drop them a facebook message to see if they know of a good tour operator for you, but the bigger companies I've heard of are Aladdin and Neptune (I think!)
I do know if you go to Jordan's website (like their tourism one) you can find a list of reliable/certified tour operating companies -- to be on the safe side.

Did you feel safe there?
I don't know anyone who has traveled to Jordan.
I will be traveling with a gf.
Thanks for the tip on certified tour operators.
We might just book a reliable international hotel and book excursions from the concierge.
